45 (5) - Pages 47-52A novel species of Neotropicomus A.C.Magnago, Alves-Silva & T.W.Henkel is proposed from tropical India. Neotropicomus indicus sp. nov. is described as new, based on morphology and molecular phylogenetic studies. Detailed descriptions, colour photographs, and a phylogenetic tree based on ITS and 28S sequence analysis are presented. A taxonomic key to the described species of Neotropicomus is also provided. This forms the first report of the genus from the paleotropics.
