46 (14) - Pages 149-155In the latest works dealing with the orchid flora of Reunion Island, the species Hemiperis micrantha (Frapp. ex Cordem.) Schltr., created by Frappier in Cordemoy in 1895, has given rise to numerous uncertainties as to its taxonomic position. On the basis of morphological observations and phylogenetic analyses, we propose to integrate this species within the genus Cynorkis Thouars.
