Adansonia is a fast-track and peer-reviewed journal of plant biology, devoted to the inventory, analysis and interpretation of vascular plants biodiversity. It publishes original results, in French or English, of botanical research, particularly in systematics and related fields: morphology, anatomy, biology, ecology, phylogeny, biogeography, etc. All articles published in Adansonia are compliant with the different nomenclatural codes (ICZN, ICN). A non-exclusive copyright assignment will be signed by the authors before publication.
All Adansonia articles are made freely and immediately available in PDF to readers on the Muséum national d'histoire naturelle website, with no charges to authors for publication (Diamond Open Access). The enhanced journal is distributed by BioOne® in full-text searchable XML as part of the aggregation BioOne Complete. Archiving and preservation are provided via Portico and LOCKSS.
Printed issues are still available using the form on the right of this page.
Adansonia, série 3 continues as from 1997 the Bulletin du Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, 4ème série – section B, Adansonia : Botanique, phytochimie.
