Les Psilidae de France (Diptera : Acalyptrata) : checklist et clés de détermination des genres et des espèces

The study of more than 1300 specimens updates the situation concerning the Diptera of the Psilidae family. A list of the French fauna (continental) is proposed, accompanied by illustrated determination keys for the six genera and 37 French species (with five other potential species). For the genus Chamaepsila, the proposed key is provisional. The illustration of the genitalia of Chamaepsila villosula male is however unpublished. A few elements of ecology (notably chorology and larval habitats) of the species cited are also detailed from elements collected in the literature.
