Two new species of jumping spiders, Thiratoscirtus oberleuthneri (♂) and Th. lamboji (♀), are described from Gabon, one of the least explored areas of the Afrotropics. Both species live in rainforest, at the forest floor. They are members of a very poorly known subfamily of salticids, the Thiratoscirtinae.
