36 (2) - Pages 329-333A new species, Xanthomyrtus wendae Danet, sp. nov. recently discovered in the Indonesian province of Papua is described and illustrated. It can be separated from X. grandiflora A.J.Scott by having wider sepals, subglabrous twigs, a shorter petiole, a smaller and glabrous foliar limb.
