In this paper, two mimetic new species of the Ateleutinae Townes, 1970 genera Ateleute Förster, 1869 and Tamaulipeca Kasparyan, 2001 from Costa Rica, are described and illustrated: Ateleute pollux n. sp. and Tamaulipeca castor n. sp. Keys to New World species of Ateleute and Tamaulipeca are provided.
