Callopistria (Hübner, 1821) from Mitaraka Massif, Guiana, with the description of a new species (Noctuidae, Eriopinae)

One new species of genus Callopistria Hübner, 1821, C. longipilosa n. sp. is described based on a series of five specimens from French Guiana. It is compared to C. leucotoma (Druce, 1908) described from Peru, but also present in French Guiana. Habitus and genitalia are illustred. Two new combinations and two new synonmies are proposed: Phuphena plinthobaps (Zerny, 1916) n. comb., Elaphria carmioli (Schaus, 1911) n. comb., Callopistria orses (Schaus, 1914) is synonymized with C. panamensis Druce, 1889, and Callopistria trinidensis (Hampson, 1908) is synonymized with C. floridensis (Guenée, 1852).
