The genus Paulianidia Jarrige, 1978, endemic to Madagascar, is reviewed based on an important material collected by litter sifting, interception trap and pitfall trap. The number of species in the genus increases from five to 24 of which 19 are new: P. reticulata n. sp., P. microptera n. sp., P. marojejy n. sp., P. nigra n. sp., P. minima n. sp., P. hova n. sp., P. itremo n. sp., P. janaki n. sp., P. peyrierasi n. sp., P. hammondi n. sp., P. andringitrensis n. sp., P. parvalata n. sp., P. ikoka n. sp., P. fisheri n. sp., P. pauliani n. sp., P. steineri n. sp., P. elegans n. sp., P. ivohibensis n. sp. and P. proxima n. sp. All the species of the genus are described or redescribed, and their main characters are illustrated. An identification key is included.
