Three species of deep-sea grapsids, belonging to the genera Euchirograpsus H. Milne Edwards, 1853 and Miersiograpsus Türkay, 1978, were collected during French cruises devoted to the bathyal fauna in the South-West Pacific. One new species, E. tuerkayi n. sp., is described from the Tuamotu Archipelago; it is a vicariant relative of E. antillensis Türkay, 1975, from the Antilles. E. timorensis Türkay, 1975, which was known from a single specimen from the Timor Sea, has its distribution area extended to the Philippines and New Caledonia. Miersiograpsus australiensis Türkay, 1978, previously known from only two specimens from Southeastern Australia, is newly recorded in New Caledonia.
