List of bird types in the collections of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, Paris. 9: Diurnal Raptors (Accipitridae), second part

The type specimens of 22 diurnal Raptor taxa are reviewed critically. Lectotypes are designated for the following taxa : Falco poecilonotus Cuvier in Temminck, 1822, Buteo pallidus Lesson, 1830, Buteogallus carthartoides Lesson, 1830, Buteo tricolor d’Orbigny & Lafresnaye, 1837, Falco cirtensis Levaillant, 1850, Falco senegalus Cuvier, 1829, and Falco cristatellus Temminck, 1824. Eight specimens labelled as types, which they are not according to the Code, are also treated.
