Porcellio djahizi n. sp. is described from Kasserine in Tunisia. This new species is rather similar to Porcellio variabilis Lucas, 1846, both living in sympatry. The first differs from the second mainly by its smooth tegument, its slender body, its first pereionite with posterolaterally rounded corners, its oval glandular fields and by the absence of a protuberance on vertex and of sexual differentiation of the uropodal exopodite.
