Description, ecology and distribution of three new species (Myriapoda, Diplodopa) from the peripheral areas of Massif Central and Central France

Polydesmus geoffroyi n. sp. (Polydesmida, Polydesmidae) was collected in oakwoods situated in the Cher, Lozère and Dordogne departments. The other two species are craspedosomids with a much more limited distribution: Hylebainosoma (?) nontronensis n. sp. (Haaseida) occurs in woods on acidic soils in the border regions of the Périgord Vert and the Limousin; the five species of the genus Hylebainosoma are Carpathian. Pyrgocyphosoma balazuci is only known from two localities, one of which is a cave, in the Ardèche department; its discovery significantly extends the distributional area of the genus Pyrgocyphosoma in a westerly direction.
