Considérations taxonomiques sur Le genre Chiromachetes Pocock, 1899 (Chelicerata, Scorpiones, Ischnuridae)

The study of some specimens of scorpions belonging to the genus Chiromachetes Pocock, 1899, deposited in the Natural History Museum of Paris leads to the revalidation of this genus, with a new diagnosis of Chiromachetes fergusoni Pocock and the description of Chiromachetes tirupati n.sp. The two species are only known from the south of India.
