A bryophyte checklist of Upper Normandy (France) has been drafted. It is based on a critical reading of the literature, starting with Lecointe’s important work, the examination of several old herbaria and recent field work. Twenty-four taxa, new to the region, are commented in detail, as well as some other remarkable taxa. Biodiversity is medium with 454 recognized taxa (3 hornworts, 104 liverworts and 347 mosses).
