Alcoholic extracts of one moss and one hepatic were tested for the first time for its antifeedant activity against a slug (Arion lusitaniens). In a preference test, the extracts of Neckera crispa showed low antifeedant effects in concentrations of 0.5% dry weight and more. In contrast, the extracts of Porella obtusata showed moderate effects at concentrations of 0.05% and absolute antifeedant acitivity at 0.25% dry weight.
