The authors describe and comment several collections of Tubaria decurrens (Peck) Murrill, a species originally described from Kansas (North America) and found in Catalonia (Spain, Iberian peninsula). A synonymy is proposed with Omphalia subfulviceps Murrill and Tubaria omphaliopsis Singer (= Melanomphalia omphaliopsis (Singer) Singer). Microscopic drawings (including holotype), photographs under the field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) of the spores, and photographs of basidiomata in their habitat, are presented. The authors discuss the relationships of this taxon with the genus Melanomphalia.
