Six lichens (Biatora pontica, Mniaecia jungermanniae, Opegrapha multipuncta, Micarea lutulata, Ramonia chrysophaea, and Thelotrema suecicum) and two lichenicolous fungi (Dactylospora miscrospora and Sclerococcum griseosporodochium) are reported as new additions to the flora of Italy. A brief morphological and anatomical description of each species and critical notes on ecology and geographic distribution are given. A further list of fifteen species new to particular Italian regions is also reported, with some remarks on their biology or abundance in the survey area.
