In preparation of the forthcoming publication of the Mediterranean checklist for mosses, and in complement of a previous bryophyte check-list for Corsica, 6 moss genera, six liverwort and 28 moss species are reported here as new to the Corsican bryoflora. Recent observations were also made for 13 species that had not been recorded before the 1960s. The bryophyte flora of Corsica is now comprised of 574 species, including 3 hornworts, 154 liverworts, and 417 mosses. Among the new records, Leiocolea heterocolpos is of special interest since it is the first mention of the species in the entire Mediterranean.
