An annotated catalogue of the Buprestidae (Coleoptera) of Madagascar and the Aldabra, Comoro, Mascarine and Seychelles Islands is presented for 74 valid genera, 18 genus-group synonyms, 16 non-nominate subgenera, 747 valid species, 224 available species names in synonymy and 20 subspecies split between six subfamilies, 15 tribes and 19 subtribes. Type locality or subsequently published distributional data are given. All relevant original descriptions and subsequant reference literature are listed. Six species and five genera are described in this volume.
